Like I said on the last post from 2 almost 3months ago, "I can't believe its been this long since i've posted"... Well here I am again, being lazy with my blog that I like to document things on, no matter if you read or not :) I'm content with documenting for myself.

Let's start with my birthday, New Year's Eve. :)

We pretty much just hung out @ Mi Familias until 11ish & went somewhere else & did the count did for the new years with some champagne!! I HATE champage, YUCK!

Needless to say, it was definitely a fun night. There isn't many pictures because of you know.. we drank some and forgot about the camera!!

Anywho, its Wednesday and my second day off work. You may wonder why? BECAUSE OF ICE & SNOW!!!! In Texas? Work gets cancelled if it rains 2inches because everyone is use to 100degree weather :) Dontcha love us Texans?!

Gah! I didn't realize its been a couple of months since I last blogged. I'm sure I don't have readers BUT that's okay. This is just for me to document my life! I haven't been up to much anywho, just working & trying to stay healthy! That's my main goal. 

I can't believe Thanksgiving is around the corner! 2010 has definitely gone by so quickly, makes me older! I like the food that comes with holidays! ;) Does anyone have a good recipe for pies?? I would like to try something different this year, let me know!

So this past weekend, I met my Godmother. :) I know 24years later! I was born in Verden, Germany (Military brat) and my mom's BEST BEST FRIEND's husband was in the Military also. Well, her friend which is my Nina(godmother) left Germany, and they lost contact!!! So Janie (my Nina) found my mom on Facebook last Tuesday and her family treated us in San Antonio this past weekend and it was awesome!

San Antonio

KC & I absolutely love the riverwalk and the historic buildings in San Antonio. It is definitely a great place to tour. Not my style to live there, but definitely a neat place to go hang out on the weekends! Well we did go visit that place for Labor Day weekend, did we have a blast or what! Here are a few pictures from some of the missions we went to visit.

The above picture is almost my favorite. I love how vibrant the flowers were, very hardy plant. :)

KC took the picture above, I think he did a fantastic job. He was down low to the ground and shot this picture. There was a storm coming in that day, it totally just fit picture taking of the old historic mission buildings. We really enjoyed our time.

We like each other, a lot. It's a good thing right? ;)

I remember when I was a kid, I didn't want to go to the carnivals. I see why now. No offense to ANYONE out there, but really? The ones that do it here, I think are from up North... and they are insane. No kids want to go "shoot the gun" "win a prize" "toss rings"...etc. because they are, well you know. I didn't even wanna look at most of them because they would totally try and coax me to "come here". I'm out on that! But me and my mom did take my nephew Logan to go ride a few rides today. $25 wrist bands for 2hrs. =\ what a ~~deal~~ steal.

Well, hello friends! I haven't posted in a little over two months! I didn't realize it was there long, but I guess so! It was a good summer, very hot here in Texas! 

We were out on a friends boat for Memorial day weekend and used their RV while they went to Virginia for some type of national cheerleading deal :) 

We have done quite a few cool things since I last posted. But I don't want to post it all at once. One day this summer, I came home to KC & Scotty planting this!!!! :)

I loved it, but too bad it sooo hott in Texas it just went CAPLUNK! Anywho, im going to get off of here and ill post more about our San Antonio trip another day :)

Get-a-way

So, we totally had a blast camping. Some people don't like camping the "real" way, but I love it. I can be super girly, but then I have moments where I just want to forget about it and sweat... and IT'S OKAY! I promise.Don't freak out on me because i like to camp, okay? It's okay to sweat. It's okay to not sleep SUPER comfy. We had a 3 man tent and a blow up queen mattress, I think that's pretty good. It's a total blast. I can't wait to do it again. What's the next holiday, July 4th? ;)

So.. the orange cone- that greeted us as we pulled up to Lot #10. :) It was well reserved for us! How exciting is that. I loved it. I can't wait until we go camping it, it was such great fun. We hiked up to Gorman Falls. That's BEAUTIFUL!

Look at the dramatic difference... do you see the line where the current is pushing the river water out? It's awesome. I love how it never mixes because of the current from the falls!!

Memorial Day weekend...

It is finally close to Memorial Day! We are excited about this, you know getting an extra day off. We get Monday off, of course. But, we are excited because KC, never gets off. If his boss could work him 24/7 7days a week, of course he would. But the good news is we are going to Gorman Falls (Colorado Bend State Park)- talk about STOKED!

These are just a couple of the pictures from the State Park. Doesn't it just seems so peaceful? We are "roughin'" it too!!! Camping, tent, out house toilets, COLD water to shower, 14miles of trails, hiking, fishing... it just sounds fun!

Enough of that! What have ya'll been up to lately? It seems like the economy around here has picked up quite a bit and i like it. I don't like sitting still at work and doing nothing, I would rather be busy!

This is all random, sorry! But a few weeks ago, we went to a guys place where he has like 30something old cars/trucks... but look at this SUV!!! WE love old trucks and cars.

I'm outta here, it's late and there is no supper here yet!!!

I haven't really been keeping a secret because I really haven't mentioned much of this. But I am excited to announce: My huge news is we are saying " I DO!" next spring :) I am absolutely stoked. So I wanted to share some inspiration photos I have ran across recently...

So obviously, i'm shootin' for outside & Spring-ish. Where can a girl get those awesome aqua blue "Ball" mason jars? I have ONE! I want like 30. Maybe 40. There is a antique shop 15miles from here, but an 85 year-old-man owns it and knows the value of them... therefore they are priced for 18.95-20.00 dollars. This girl is NOT paying that much! So if you know, let ME know!

I can say I haven't posted in FOR-EVER! I have been so busy with work, church, visiting, hanging out... regular 'ol life. Let's see, since I logged on last, I have probably gained 15lbs. UGH! Got bugs in my house recently, and it's horrible!!! Had Mr. D come spray the house and now we are BUG-FREE!!! Doing some planning... I will have to show you some ideas I have come up with for my "planning". :)

I had to post this of Brightyn and I in the SUPER messy 2nd bedroom. The lighting is awful...everything in there!!! But I love her in this picture.. this is her "hug", and i'm okay with her stepping on my fabric to hug me! :)

My sister graduated TBI (Texas Bible Institue) May 1st! YAY! I'm so proud of my sister. Now she will continue HPU here, locally.

That's really been it lately. I just haven't taken pictures so much. I haven't done crafts, kinda lazy. But i'll be back! Take care ya'll!

Easter weekend was a blast. We celebrated it at our house this year. A reminder that He lives today! It's so fun to know that. It's fun to be with your family and eat like there's no tomorrow. To put out bright colored decor, taking pictures, laughing until the sun goes down.

Hi my long lost blogger friends! It's been FOR-EV-A since I have ~~seen~~ wrote to ya'll! So here I am with not much to talk about. I haven't uploaded any recent pictures, so i'm kind of just stuck with a blank white post. I have been doing yard work, family time, hanging out, sleeping, eating, sleeping, eating, eating. Maybe that's why I have gained a few pounds!! We are trying to push moving further south sooner due to me wanting to continue schooling! So I pray that things work out like He wants them to. :) I am plain exhausted.

A few weeks ago my mom, sister & I took a trip out of town 45minutes south and visited family and this house. This house is so special to my mom, she grew up here. It's so sad to know that someone in the family owns this, and DARE doesn't take care of this. It used to be BEAUTIFUL mom said. It had a large library inside when you walked in. This is a corner home, so the entire lot was the family.

So that's been life lately! I hope to blog more soon, and more often like before. I hope everyone is doing fantastic!!

SPRING-ISHHHHHH

Here in Texas it's been hinting that Spring is making it's arrival! I'm totally okay with that :) I'll be even happier when we don't get rain every other day like we live in Seattle or something!!! Totally not for that again! (although Seattle is BEAUTIFUL!)

KC is fixing this four-wheeler for his buddy, so i had to give it a run in our backyard ;)....okay, now it works!

I took these pictures right after work today!

I love this picture of Brightyn, she is totally SMELLING the flowers!!! HAHAHAAHA. So afterwards, I wanted her to sniff again so I can take an even cuter picture, and she bit the flower!!! I'm such a dork for even trying to show her the flower AGAIN!

Ashley had a AWESOME wreath she made recently..so I had to create one myself. :) Of course my town is smalllllll (20,000pop.) and we don't have a target, hobby lobby, or really any craft store here... so I went to trusty 'ol Goodwill and SCORED a $.99 wreath, a large one!!!!

So that's my started wreath, ive actually gotten more than this done, just haven't taken a picture yet :)

I wanted to introduce my newly blogger sister. Let me tell ya since she's SO very young she won't mind me telling how old she is!. Vicky is my ~~oldest~~ youngest sister, she's 25 19, and is SUPER intelligent. She totally knows that God has a plan for her, don't we all? But do we all know what the plan is? Stay-a-tune. I sure do hear Him knocking on my door, but I usually can't figure out which door he is knocking on. So, i'm still learning. But I did just want to say a few words about Vicky. She is an inspiration to me and my family. She is encouraging, uplifting, intelligent, loving, caring. She really does have a huge heart. She's more in love with Breast Cancer Awareness stuff more than anything. No she has never suffered from the Breast Cancer, she just wants to support those that have and those that are struggling with needs. She will be coming home in (central, TX) here in a few weeks for GOOD! And will be attending the university here, locally, again! :) So I encourage you to step out and visit her site! It's uplifting! Hang in there with her, she is still learning the blog world! Thank ya'll for listening to me ramble about her, but she is sooooooo special to me!

There are a few contest going around about "Ruffles", sharing what you have. Well in one of my recent posts, I showed my re-vamped lamp. And I have my finished picture!!!

They are somewhat, grainy, not sure why. Oh, well. This is it! I love it. After I snapped this picture I thought, well I don't have a before. BUT I DO!!!! Accidently! I was taking a picture a few weeks ago, of my pinecones that were on this table, and it's the same shot pretty much! :) Here it is before:

I really do like the after. It's more spring-y lookin'! I also re-vamped a red sweater! Seen below is now a ruffle pillow! :) YES, I DO LOVE IT!!

I have been dying to take a few shots of our back yard flowers that are on the trees/bushes! When I got home today, I ran outside to take a few pictures of the peach tree flowers and some random red/pinkish ones growing on their own ;)

I got my Country Living magazine today :)

Another thing to be excited about... my mom and sister went out of town to the BX(base shopping center!) to shop and got me a few goodies! :) This lamp was orignially $25!!!! Marked down to $4!!!!!!!! (happy dance) I love it's modern style.

The larger candle below was originally $14, marked down to $3! :) (insert happy dance!) And the tealight ones were orignially around $5 and marked down to $0.98 and $1.00!!!! GO MOM!!

Spring is coming!!

Is Spring coming ya'lls way? It has been in the 70s lately, and THAT makes me so happy! We have had a cold Winter for Texas. I just threw a few pictures in here from the last few days. We visited my mom's house that she grew up in( I will post pictures..later)

I made all three of these pillows but I was really just trying to get that white one! :) 16" x 16" white fabric, and ModPodged the birdie shapes on there!! :) I love it with my white pillows and white duvet mom got me!!

Peaches :) mmm..mmm..good! We had peaches fried with brown sugar for a topping on our Homemade Vanilla ice cream!

Bought new thread, totally excited about that teal color! Spring is in the air!

I haven't posted just because...because I work until 5p.m.

Since I live in Texas I can complain about wanting to be lazy because we NEVER EVER get snow, so that would stop me from post!...???....SO, anywho that's why :) You don't think i'm complaining do ya? GREEEAAAAT! I didn't think you would.

Our friends own Hope for Tomorrow. So the first few pictures are of us prepparing the food for the church gathering :)

I really don't listen to the news, watch TV, read the newspaper but I need to start. Not because I like bad news or want to cry it's because I want to pray for our world. For the things that are happening in my town, in my state, with my family, etc. I want to pray specifically. I do, really. I wrote a post a few days ago about my family and our loss that has been happening. Another reason I want to blog about this is because another cousin passed away last night. We need to come together and make peace with each other and let them know we love them so much. Another is have you heard about the plane crash here in Austin, TX? If not, go watch this and read this! So my goal is to keep telling everyone how much I love and appreciate them! I always do and always will, I just want to be more aware that I am meaning it!! WINNER!!!

So, I found out last thursday I won THIS!! I chose the squirrel towel, because KC absolutely is fond of squirrels ; ) So sweet Vanessa sent that package right over to me!

Look how adorable that little birdie is that was on my package!! I absolutely loved it V, thank you so very much!! I love my towel and so does KC so we are all happy ;) And then here are some homemade V-day cards I made for KC's family up north in good 'ol Washington state!

Speaking of winning, I won a drawing from the bulletin here (newspaper)!!!! I have never won anything until I won from V last week. How IRONIC!!!??? So anyways for the bulletin you had to count the "Cupids" up until Thursday Feb. 11th and then turn in your count! So this is the funny part...Since I NEVER win anything I told my co-worker "uh, i'm not doing that I never win." So she counted for like 3 weeks out of the paper... and on Tuesday she said just cut the ad out of the paper and put the same number as me down... so I gave in and turn in my count, mailed it to our local newspaper company and waited... Friday the 12th comes around and I get a voicemail from our newspaper company and she said " JO!!! YOU WON!!!!"... um, won what? hahahahahahaha, I was embarrassed. I NEVER EVER EVER win, i'm serious. :) So I won this little bouquet of flowers that was $50!

I also got a $20 gift certificate to a restaurant in town and two movie tickets :) How awesome?!?! I was super excited. And of course, my picture was taken and will be in the paper! So yeah, this has been my week!!

I hope ya'll have a beautiful Valentine's Day! We have a Valentines dinner-newlywed-game-award-communion-lovin' plan for tonight! Our church is puttin' it on and it will be a blast! I am totally excited! Stay tuned for that...

It's still a few more weeks before we even begin to see Spring! That is way too long for us Texans, we love the sunshine. It hasn't shined so pretty in SO long, I am having withdrawals from you sunny, I sure do miss you!! So this makes me in deep search for Winter clothes MORE!! I am loving this cardigan and this cardigan and this cardigan!!! A LOT! As well as THIS coat!

Cardigans are my favorite piece of clothing. I scored one yesterday in our mall for $6.97 regulary $34.00!!!! That is a bargain times the universe!

You know, I haven't been home much lately but I sure have been at work and searching some blogs! :) I love to do this. I love the blog world and getting to "know" you girls or guys on here. It's awesome. I like sharing projects, clothes, weather, thoughts, etc.. It's awesome! Thanks for allowing me to do so Blogger! Have you ever heard of Sam Moon? If not, go check IT out! Their stuff is super cheap, yet trendy! I love it. The closest one to me is in Dallas/Ft. Worth area, but STILL! I will make the trip there when I can!

The orange clutch is only $29.95! The earrings I believe were $7.50, but I love them!!! The best about those earrings are they are made out of Genuine Leather!! :) How comfy is that, yet trendy??

OH! I HAVE to add this picture! It is hilarious to us BECAUSE we are no where close to a cowgirl nor cowgirl style (no offense) just not out style. When KC first came in from Seattle, we went to the mall and of course this town is truck/cowboy city so we stopped in the western store at the mall and tried on boots for KICKS!! :) still makes us laugh!

It's been rough

I won't be sharing pictures or much of great news in this post. A good family friend that just turned 90 passed away about a week ago, she was battling a hard month of Pneumonia. She fought it hard and strong and the hospital here in my town doesn't really do a fantastic job! So, she couldn't battle it much longer. She went to sleep and woke up in sweet Heaven with our beautiful Savior!! My cousin in Florida was killed in a car accident yesterday evening and they aren't sure if his daughter will make it! I pray she does and does it strong! And my precious grandmother in Guam passed away just a few minutes ago. I wanted to post about this because I know ya'll are prayer warriors! Please pray for protection over my family and gain strong hearts to go through all of this. Thanks for listening!

Sunsets and memories

KC took some pictures of the sunset from his work(you can see all the cars lined up on the lot)... and then I took one going to my parents' house one day. This first picture makes me miss summertime!! Old sheets, sun shades, green green grass oh how i miss you & popsicles!!

A little fun in the snow for a few days in a row!
So, this is gross:
HAHAHAH! It's an apple. old apple. very. I was cleaning out my walk-in closet the other night, and found this in a purse!! When I switch purses I tend to just take out my wallet and that's it. I forget to CLEAN it out like normal people do. So I found an apple. Your wondering why is there an apple in my purse? Because I like apples, and I take them to work with me. Since my purses are like suitcases(can anyone relate??) an apple fits just fine. :)

I can't believe '09 is almost over! One more day of the 2009 year, WOW! Speaking of the last day of the year, 31st, it's my birrrrrrrrrthday! yeah yeah, okay enough with me. So how was CHRISTmas with your family?..... I still haven't uploaded any pictures of our time with my parents but I will. Saving it for the next post!

In 3 weeks this much has happened...

My neighbors moved, so I got to pick from their garden!!!! I am happy about picking from the garden, but not happy they moved. She was the gal that recruited me as a MaryKay Consultant :) She is super sweet. So I miss them! Anyways, here are a few pictures from the garden.

October 31st: We were RockStars!! Our church held a trunk-r-treat :) There was 6 of us in the band and we had a 60" flat screen in the back of the truck and played guitarhero!! It was a blast. We won best overall. We found out the next day during church service & got awarded!!! YAY!

I am so excited it is Saturday. I have been waiting for a weekend all week. I am so burned out from working alllllll week & school. =\ makes me feel so exhausted by the weekend. But I feel refreshed this morning, up and getting ready for my conference @ 9:30. But I wanted to tell ya'll to have a safe and great weekend! Kentucky, Indianapolis...

First up in Bowling Green, Kentucky..we headed to the Corvette Museum! Since KC is a GM employee, we HAD to go see the ONLY place in America where they make ALL your Corvettes! :) It was AWESOME! I felt like I was in Toyland. In the warehouse of the "making" of the cars was so neat. They had Corvettes rolling down from way up above to enter all the "stations" in order to actually get finished. You HAVE to go. It is the BEST!!!

Corvairs! :) REALLY?!?!?!?!? I was excited. Look how neat this is, I mean really? Who has one of these nowdays? HARDLY ANYONE!

I know this picture is blurry, but it's AWESOME!!!

We got there 30mins too late to ride up into the Arch to see the beautiful city. We were so upset because we drove there intentionally to go in the Arch!!!! But that's okay, maybe we can tour that place again sometime!

So as I was saying...

He was cool to hang out with. At least I feel like I hung out with him and I feel like I know him so very well. Elvis Presley did a huge impact in the Memphis area and i'm sure else where. But that place has dedicated so much to him. Like I have mentioned before, I have never really been a huge fan of Elvis, but it's like... from going to his house, seeing his cars, hearing his daughter I have so much respect for him and his beautiful house! He had an awesome life. I mean who would complain about having a huge home at 22years old and be a millionaire? I know I wouldn't, that's my dream as I type! :) so anyways, I just wanted to share a few photos of him and other places we visited!

I know I have been M.I.A a lot! I will have to drag out my trip to Ohio posts over a few days! :) If that's okay with ya'll? We went to Oklahoma, Ohio, Illinois, Tennessee, Kentucky, Arkansas.. I think i'm missing a few states in there somewhere, but you get the point, ive been gone forever!! It was so nice to take a trip. So in pictures we have been here:

This is "The Old Mill". You know the movie Gone with the Wind? This scenic mill was in the opening act of that movie. Very awesome landscaping to view as well!! It was soooo cold on this day!

fluenza. Which is the flu. I have it! I am highly contagious, as if you didn't know. So please pray that I don't get worse and pray that my surrounding friends/family does not catch it! Since I study medical it scary to know more than a normal person would know! Influenza, thyroid swelling, and on and on and on. SCARY! But God is on my side and I will fight for my life and others :) Just pray, and thank you! On to another subject since that's a sad subject. I HAVE NOT SEEN THE SUN IN A WEEK! What's with that! It's fall and still no sun??? It's been raining, in the 50s or colder and its JUST now October! GIVE ME A BREAK! I guess that's life.

Have ya'll seen the new band "Journey" leader?! Arnel Pineda, and he is just as awesome and Steve!! :) OH I LOVE IT!!!!

I have been swamped with all kinds of stuff!! I like it because my day goes faster. I now sell Mary Kay and it's exciting!!!! I have used this make-up for 2years and I have decided to sell it :) I am glad I made this choice. Tonight at 800pm I have to meet with my Unit Director for some good advice, boy am I pumped! Meeting up with some friends, hanging out, figuring our trip to Ohio (FINALLY!!!!)...and more! We are excited for everything.

So anyways, to my babe. She is precious. SEE!

The weekend of the 19th of September we have a "Reunion" for my town! TONS of people set their booths up, games, carnival, car shows, tricks, and more galore! :) We enjoyed it ths year the temperature was JUST right! Last year it was about 100-105degrees!! This year, I would say 75-83degrees. 83? What an odd number, but that's what I guessed! But it was a blast. I took my niece and nephew to have a blast at the carnival and walk around!

KC took this cool picture as we were walking in to the car show! I don't have the pictures downloaded to my computer so I can't UPload them to blogspot just yet, but i'll share with ya soon!!

One of KC's friends from work came over and we enjoyed ourselves a little fire in the backyard in our round firepit :) It was such a blast, the temperature was just right to have one and sit close to!!

I know, my nostrils look big?!... weird. Idk. And she was in the middle of standing up. I would show the picture where she is leaning on me, hugging me but that one of me looks ackward too!!

My family of 3. There are only three of us in my household including me ;) And I love it that way. Do I want children? well of COURSE I do!! They are such a blessing but for now, I want school out of the way, buying (or building) a home, get out of debt(everyone's wish!!), and etc... The list can go on and on and on..RIGHT!??! Anways, I just had to post about KC, he is such a delight and intelligent young man that I love so very much, and I couldn't ask for anything better!

Instead of children being his number one thing... SQUIRRELS ARE!! hahahaha, who would of thunk!?

Sorry about the greasy lookin' faces and double chins for trying to take a picture of us three. This was at a restaurant in Fredricksburg! Just a couple of hours south of me. It is a German touristy town. Such an awesome place. The boys were drinking some German beer, YUCK! Nick(KC's buddie) has some German in him and I was born in Verden, Germany so why not? And why wouldn't ya go there? SUCH AN AWESOME AWESOME TOWN!!!

Relaxing weekend

Since it's been raining here for 3 straight days, why not relax right? Last night, guess what we had to supper?!

Potatoe soup!!!! I LOVE IT! Toppings were bacon, green onions, and shredded cheese!!! You can NOT ask for more than this. Since it's been raining, why not have something so warm and filling in THREE bites! KC & I were saying the whole time "mmm.. it's so good!!"... haha, we couldn't get enough of it!

We were taking the trash out today, and saw this beauty growing on our fence ;) (our house in the back!)...yes we have an enormous backyard! But isn't this soooo pretty! Adds a little uniqueness and privacy to our large backyard!

A little transformation for ya! We got this little desk that i'm using RIGHT NOW for my computer desk FOR FREE!!!!!! We were taking our evening walk with our pup and a lady had it sitting outside of her yard and I instantly fell in love with it! KC was like "babe, what in the world would you do with that thing, it's falling apart?"

So we transformed it into something, i love :)

I didn't know anyone that lost their lives because of a terrorist threat during this fall. But I do honor and pray for those that lost their loved ones during the Twin Tower disaster. I could not imagine being on the streets during that time and running from the black smoke, hearing babies crying, families screaming for help... running... not stopping.

I just give my condolences to those that lost a loved one. Ya'll are in my prayers!

Spade

Not spade of cards, but getting my puppy spade! I am so nervous, is that weird? I love her and I love her personality and her fur & the pretty chocolate color that she is! I don't want her to change one bit and chances are "she may"... that's so sad! I know I might being going overboard with this feeling but I love animals and especially mine like it's my own child, because I am childless! ;) She's pretty and she listens. What more could I ask for? Anyways, I just wanted you to know she is getting spade and i'm sad!!! But at least I won't have to worry about those boys wanting to make babies with her anymore! ;)

Well our trip has been pushed back until my love bug gets some stuff together. So another probably 4weeks? So every night, for like 2hours we spend time on the computer and in our journal mapping our way. :) It's so much fun bonding time, we love it! We are going to stay in Memphis(Graceland)- in the Heartbreak Hotel of Elvis! I'm not a huge fan of his, but I respect him and I think it would be awesome to just see his mansion, tour it, stay at the hotel, eat lunch there and so on. So we are making ourself V.I.P.! Why not, eh?! So that's that!

I'm at work so ill have to send some pictures later or whatever! ;) i'll do it when I get home this evening. Ya'll have a good Wednesday!

"Come back to Texas!" (name that song). The week of September 13th, KC & I are headed to Ohio!!! We live in Texas now, and we were driving to Ohio and we are STOCKED! We love to travel and we have seen a lot of the west coast Washington, Oregon, California, Utah, Arizona, Idaho, Colorado, Nevada! :) Now we are going to Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio! That is absolutely exciting news to me. I can hardly wait! KC was bidding on ebay and won the big over a 1937 pick em up truck. We need it for parts to work on ours, so here we go! Sorry about that little splurge that I just did, but what can I say, we are pumped!
ahhh!!! I just think that is soooo pretty and so relaxing. Water and a bridge lite up :) We may smooch under the bridge ;)

I like red, do you? LOL! What kind of car/truck is that!!? Something interesting I saw this summer in the Walmart parking lot, I just HAD to take a picture. ALTHOUGH I will be buying me an old car and paint it like a pastel pink ;)
Anywho, off that subject..onto this!

How PRETTY!!!!! I know my blog is always random pictures of different days, but it's okay I assume.
This is my mom painting my 'old' room when I lived at home. When my parents bought the house, my room used to be a nursery. OH BOY! The colors they had... like a sky blue and yellow and it had the wood border all the way around the wall about mid-way from the ceiling and floor. IT WAS AWFUL! So then we painted it Suede by Behr. When I had this room I had (the wall my mom is painting in that picture) a redish color for my main wall, it was neat. But she obviously didn't like it, but I love this transition she made. I had to show pictures! :)

I got home later that evening and my creative nephew (age 7) decided to let everyone know...

What a character ;) Gotta love 'em.

"IT'S A SMALL WORLD!!!!" They are not kidding! One of my sweet co-workers( Director of Operations)... sister-n-law has a blog and I found it yesterday, simply from just randomly looking at blogs! And she doesn't live in Texas like we do, she lives a few states over, made me giggle! NO WAY! It's so cool how you find people on here! It made me like jump for joy... or joy jumping... or something! ;) Anywho, you get the point I was excited and I don't even know her! How cool.

And of course, I always have to show my sunsetting magic! ;)

So, we went for a "trail adventure" and my nephew went with us.

Our backyard

I was looking through pictures on my computer and saw some of our backyard and I love it. :) I LOVE our backyard. This was from a few months ago, so the grass is greener and we have trimmed some of the bushes and trees.

This picture was a few days before we mowed our grass, sorry about the messy, long, grass!

We have 11 trees in our backyard! They are all pecan trees(i'm not a fan of). I like being able to go outside bare footed and not step on pecans!!! During the fall, that's generally what happens! Anywho, I still love our yard. It's beautiful and peaceful. These pictures were taken on an early morning around 8am. :) Beautiful eh?

And just to make you giggle, look at our baby at 3months! Is this hilarious or what? She was in her crate, because we were at the track and my lovely fiance was racing motorscooters ;)

I always love Fridays. My weeks at work always seem so much longer than they really are! That's awful I know. Well it's because I have school & work & that means i'm already tired by 11 AM! How's that possible for such a young gal like me? I need to take vitamins or something to help with my energy! It's awful!

I miss my hair being this long! This was taken last year sometime, and I always have long hair but I got this urge to chop it off around fall of '08. And KC & I loved it just for a short period of time and it's JUST now a few inches past my shoulders!! I just don't have the patience EVERY.SINGLE.DAY. to mess with it. I like when it's long and I have it cut a certain way and hair spray and G.O.! ;)

Anywho, I just had to share that little bit of information there. Crazy weather here in Texas. It's been around 100degrees this week. Yesterday it poured rain like no-ones biznasssss. I couldn't believe it! I'm sitting at work hoping the lightning & thunder doesn't shatter my windows!

I have needed to update my blog with more pictures! These pictures are what we've been doing through the summer :)

A day at the lake! This is Brent & our puppy! She is only 6months, can ya believe it!? She is such a huge baby, and I love it! Her dad weights between 105-110, kinda monsterious! But they are such awesome and smart dogs we couldn't ask for better!

Captured this awesome double-rainbow yesterday after our storm! I haven't seen one in months! They are so beautiful, probably the most beautiful "Promise" I have ever seen! ;)

Decor Ideas

We have been (I say we, & it's me and my lovely fiance), decorating our home on the weekends as much as possible. We moved into our place in December of 2008! We absolutely love it. Just a rental for right now, until we decide on what to do. Anywho, I just have been searching the net for some awesome decor ideas and blogs designers ;) little sneeky, eh? I saw these Vintage Keys @ Pottery Barn and I love them!

Pray for Kate

Sometimes, we all go through trials in life. Sometimes we don't realize how spoiled we are until something happens. Sometimes we complain because someone keeps saying our name over and over again to get our attention and you get frustrated. Sometimes we are mad, just because we can get mad? It's hard not to act that way sometimes, its hard to not be frustrated sometimes. I first read about Kate on a blog not sure who's it was, and it touched me so deep. I'm not sure of any of ya'll know who the McRae family is, but they are such a sweet and strong family. I don't know them personally, but I feel like I do. I have prayed so much for their little girl Kate that is battling a massive brain tumor at 5 years old. Holly shares with us "Monday June 29th began like every other day, and ended like one we could have never imagined. Our daughter Kate was taken to the dr. for tremors in her right hand. We proceeded to Phoenix Childrens Hospital for a stat CT of her head. At 5:30 I, Holly, Kate's mom, was taken into a room alone and told Kate had a massive tumor on the basil ganglia portion of her brain. I called her dad and our journey has begun. One we never would have chose to be a part of, but was chosen for us, and our sweet Kate. She is now in the Phoneix Children's Hospital undergoing treatment for this disease. Please, our dear daughter needs your prayers, as do we, Aaron, Holly, Olivia and Will."
And the family, how beautiful. SO BEAUTIFUL & on fire for God. I can't help but cry every. single. time I read a journal that Holly(the mom) or Aaron (the father) write on their website. www.caringbridge.com/visit/mcraekate it is so touching when they speak. Their words are so strong and they are just hungry for God, they are need our help, so please if you can help Pray for Kate and her little healing. Pray that she is strong and wants to push this battle down to the ground, pray that she will be the little girl she always has been, pray that she fights so strong, pray that she fights all the cancer cells away and the health cells stay healthy. Thank you! :)

I absolutely LOVE Hillsong, chirstian band. Have ya'll heard of them? They have been my favorite for many years, and I love when I know they are premiering a new CD. It makes my heart jump for joy. They are absolutely wonderful. When we lived in Washington before my fiance moved here, down south, we actually had a chance to go see Hillsong, and they touched me!! There are a few things that I miss. I miss my long hair, I miss Washington State, I miss going to the gym, walking in the evenings, pampering myself @ the nail shop, sun bathing in the summer ALL DAY, I miss when my pup was 2 months old (6months & looks 2), teaching, going TO class (not online), having my long hair(ALMOST THERE!!!!), going out of town a lot. I really do miss everything that I mentioned. Sometimes I sit back and think to myself, what am I doing with life at the moment? Am I accomplishing anything at all? I feel like i'm not every time I ask myself that. I am going to school, i do have my puppy, etc. It's like I don't have time for anything else, just work til 5pm and do some homework, go home, and wait on my lovely love to get off work and come home! Time goes by so fast you don't even realize what's going on. It's sooo awful! I would post some pictures, since I love to, but it says blogger is not allowing pictures at the moment. That's okay! I'll be back : ) This post wasn't meant to be "sad" so you could say, just thoughts on my mind! Ya'll have a terrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrific week!

Summer

"The sun is shining.." Can you guess what band out of the 5 that sing that song? It's true for my state. 85 today, at least it's not 104 like most of this summer has been. Didn't summer just start like a week ago? Yeah, well we've had summer since about March. I'm already over this 104 business!

We are debating on moving to Austin or Dallas. Can't figure out which one and it's annoying. It's stressful, I don't need any stress because school is stressing me out as it is! UGH! I don't know if I want to go to UT, or to TCU, or UT Southwestern. I just don't know. Im going on 3 years in school and I feel like I haven't accomplished anything. I'm going to be a Physical Therapist/Nutritionist. We are trying to start a business. We are looking for better jobs. We are looking for better opps. out there. He is 26 and i'm just a few years behind me, so we need to get going! I just hope and pray something opens up for us. We definitely need it. I am off to do some homework at work, just don't tell anyone!

I could take pictures of sunsets all day long.

It's raining! Some of you who live in Washington, or Oregon where it ALWAYS rains are probably thinking, how can you be so happy for rain! Well in the summertime here it's ALWAYS 104 and very dry and humid. We need a break every once in awhile and get some water poured on us! It's so nice when it's 72 degrees and a few sprinkles get on ya. :) I love that. I love when your sitting at your window at home and watching it rain, hearing it on the top of your roofs. OH! Joy! I can't wait to go home and make potato soup and watch a few episodes of something? Sounds like a plan to me.I know I know, my hair, I KNOW! I needed a hair cut in this picture, like 2months ago? And i'm dressed super sloppy, thats okay though right? I was just relaxing for the day. :)

Texas Capital. I think it's a great picture, everyone usually takes the exact same shot. It's such a neat view, standing right in the middle of the capital and looking up to see this! It's awesome. Makes you feel dizzy looking up!

This building, I don't know if you can tell, but it looks different from all 10views, it's was a neat site. Some type of bank in Austin.

The Maserati :) I just love it. I love the red callipers (brakes) you can see through the wheels, I love the red interior, I just love it. As you can tell here in Texas, we have tons of sunshine. It's almost my bestfriend, if he wasn't so hot!

So I started this blog a few months ago, and i've only posted a few times. I could probably count on one hand how many posts i've done, that's a shame. Sorry friends, forgive me please! I usually blog while i'm at work, SHHHHHH, don't say that too loud. Anywho, I have been busy with a roommate from Seattle visiting for 9days, so draining. And just going all over Texas to visit and explore, which was a blast. I do apologize for the lack of blogging. This is what makes me chuckle, the blogs I visit daily, I expect them to have a post EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. :) But then I don't post? That isn't fair! I will try my hardest to do better. In Texas, it's been TRIPLE digits, is anyone out there sharing the same feeling as me? I have been feeling lazy, like... pregnant lazy. I'm not though, it's just that feeling. Well i'm going to get off here and move on to my business! OH! Also we are trying to start a local business in my town, well for all over Texas, so I pray everything turns out well!! I think she is a pretty girl :) You can't really see her in this picture because it's in the 'vintage' look. But I enjoy having her at our house everyday, I enjoy going home and knowing I can play with my pup. She wont be small for too long. She is only 12weeks, and she changes every.single.day. It's quite amazing. I just had to say I love her! We love her! She is definitely a beautiful green eyes girl.

I myself dont' care to watch Nascar. But since I live in Texas a friend that owns his own business goes to Nascar races, dirt bike races, and motorcycle races and sells hats, shirts, you name it and he probably has it. So we were vendoring last month, and it was quite fun. I didn't care too much to watch the race. This was just a practice lap, as you can tell there are not many fans out at the moment. About 30mins later, there was probably 50,000 people or more? So it was super hectic but fun to watch these people get excited about all this stuff. :) My types of gig is motorcycle racing! As you know, we have two motorcycles that get raced on a track. I think it's awesome. I used to think motorcycles are dumb to have. But racing in an enclosed circuit where all motorcyles are going the same way, it's not too bad. The competition is fierce!! I'm rambling again, sorry. I do like this picture I took though, enjoy it.

In the 90s

Weather wise that is :) It has been in the 90s and extremely humid! I can't believe it, first of May and it's already summer-y feeling, incredible! My fiance is from Washington State, and its like... ughhh...? HELLO SUNSHINE! SMILE FOR ME! Oh he just loves it. It's awesome.

I'm not very happy with one of my professors are the local college here, she did something and it makes me angry. Something I can't help and it really messed me up on my HIGH gpa, I was shooting for. When you have a goal and it doesn't make it to that specific number or whatever the case may be, then it's upsetting. But it's summer school now and I have to look forward to my wonderful classes that are going to be so very hard =\ and smile maybe? I'll try.

So, I left Brightyn at my mom's house today. For those of you who don't know who Brightyn is she is my pup that is 12weeks, but she's a big pup. Look a few posts down. Do you care to know what the result is?--She chewed my mom's dogs food bowl up, found random trash in the backyard, that no one has seen? No telling where it came from. She also made a hole in the water hose. OH and she tore up my dad's tarp he had that covered his chainsaw!!!! WHAT A MESS. If KC saw this, he would be highly upset. I mean, who wouldn't? So, there ya have it. A pup that made a mess at his grandparents' house :) I felt so bad. It's like a baby/toddler that didn't behave at his grandparents' house.

This was one of the hotel/casino's in Shreveport, LA that we tried out. I did like the inside decor. :) Very nice. If your wondering why we were in Shreveport living in Texas. KC (my fiance) is a professional motorcycle racer and he raced there. WE NEED SPONSORS! I wish my town was a lot bigger! Anywho, it's the end of my Wednesday, and i'm super tired.

The weekend has finally come to an end. I can say this much though. It's May 03, 2009 and it's momma's birthday, a beautiful day, Anatomy and Physiology exam day, 65degree weather day, hopeful day. :) We had an awesome surprise birthday party for my lovely momma today and my parents' friends house, and she loved every momentary minute of it. It was beautiful! I will share pictures later on.

So 'Sigh' is the best word for this blog...

Something is bothering me so much right now is, I went online to attempt to take my exam, refreshed from the weekend, and ready to score an A on this exam. I press 'attempt exam', ready set go! I answered the first question, go up to the top to click on another tab to search for something online for this exam, AND I CLICKED OUT OF THE EXAM SO THAT MEANS I MADE A ZERO!!!!!! A BIG FAT ZERO. Does anyone know how scared I am at the moment? This is the scariest thing I personally have done in college all year long. Get this, after all the hard work for this class, I come to take the biggest test and make a ZERO!!!! =\ It scares me to know I did that. Sigh, and big sigh. It is so unbelievable. Annoying. Frustrating. I feel . that small if not smaller. Hopefully you beautiful friends out there ended their wonderful Sunday much better than I did.

It's finally Friday, and guess what? THAT alone, makes me happy! I enjoy working but sometimes, i'm burned out on the position here at a temp service, trying to find individuals work. It's stressful, but makes us here in the office feel good to help these people. But that's okay, everyone has to work to make a living! Today starts a fest here in my area, small town but it's still a lot of fun. Makes me want to dance because I like gatherings! The weather here is still YUCKY, it's been so grey for the past week, unbelievable for TEXAS!

On the blog, I need to meet more friends on here :) You guys are wonderful to blog with. I just need to figure out how to run this thing!! I need figure out how to add the people on the sidebar (because I have no clue on how to do so), and I need to just mingle. Blogging is so much fun. It's such a online secret journal with your blogging friends. Every single person on here seems to be so wonderful and sweet. You couldn't really ask for better e-friends right? I will share some more pictures with you! I'm at work waiting until it's 5 o'clock, i'm ready for this work day to be over with, I have the biggest headache ever right now and the windows in the office are so large so much light is coming in!!! Ever feel like screaming because your head hurts so bad? It almost doesn't make sense because if your head hurts you don't want too much noise. So now i'm rambling, i'll stop and share some pictures ;)
GO! #283 is KC my fiance, he is a professional motorcycle racer (AMA). He is wonderful at it and enjoys doing what he does. He is also a salesman at the dealership here in our town, loves that job as well. His passion though is to race, it even gives me an adrenaline rush! You may think i'm crazy, which is OKAY! I understand. But he is initially the crazy one, doing 120-180mph, what do ya say, crazy or loco? Either or is CRAZY!

And I am super excited about this I have been a blog reader for a while now, and now its my turn to share with you guys some of my daily life. I am currently from down south lovely Texas. No, i'm not a cowgirl or any type of that. NOTHING against it just stereotyped automatically by some people that don't think Texas has 'other' types as well :) I have lived in Texas pretty much all my life. Live in Nevada for 6months when I was younger because my dads work transferred him to the West coast for a while. I was in Seattle, WA for 6months last year, until my lovely fiance KC moved here! Just got a house recently and we are decorating it up still! Anywho, i'm so happy to be on here with yall!
This is my mom and dad's dog, its a little dark I know. His name is Coco, very original. He is a Sharpei dog, 6 years old! And I love him!!

And this is my puppy, Brightyn, she was 5weeks in this pictures, LARGE I know :) She is currently 12 weeks as of today YAY So that's us for now!!
